Born in the UK, Ken Michael Smith is a former media publisher owner/director, who has lived and worked in the United Kingdom, France, Cyprus, the Cayman Islands, China, Myanmar, Thailand and Vietnam. A seasoned traveller, he has visited over 80 countries. Ken is an avid fan of sci-fi and fantasy fiction. He was inspired to write the first draft of Aractopus sitting on a beach in Koh Samui, Thailand. He then went on to start writing part two and three. Having spent his life working in retail, advertising and marketing, He started writing after taking early retirement, having completed his first book Aractopus, he is in the process of completing parts 2 and 3 of Aractopus and an additional book, set in the future.
